It’s been a year of exponential growth for Summit Environmental, as we have taken on new clients and staff, moved into new offices and invested into new systems and processes, giving us the strong foundations we need to continue our growth into 2025.
New Clients
Over the past 12 months, we have gained some amazing new clients, which has given us the platform to deliver safety precautions up and down the country.
Marie Curie
This year we started working with Marie Curie. This fantastic charity provides support and care for people living with terminal illnesses. This national contract has taken us around the country, enabling us to meet some great people, plus we have been able to fulfil our promise of prioritising the safety of residents and workers in their buildings.
Eastbourne Borough Council and Lewes District Council
One of our highlights this year was winning the contract to work with Eastbourne Borough Council and Lewes District Council. This project commissioned us to inspect fire doors and conduct fire risk assessments across both towns and their surrounding areas. It marked one of the biggest undertakings for our team to date and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to grow, and for the trust placed in us to handle such critical work.
Staff Roundup
This year we saw Chris head into retirement. Chris, who has been an integral part of the team and is a key reason for our success, and he will be sorely missed.
With goodbyes, come hellos and this September we welcome in our new experienced asbestos consultant Ryan Chatfield. This addition to the team has been fantastic, as he has seamlessly continued to ensure that our asbestos procedures are being followed to the highest standard. Ryan’s values align with ours, when it comes to safety, cutting corners is not an option and people’s safety is of highest priority.
Investment in operations
Throughout 2024, we have invested in improving our operations and workspaces, so we can give back to our staff, ensuring they are working in the best environment possible, so they can produce the best work possible.
Not only have we moved into a new office, but we have also invested in a new CRM system. This automates everything so we can keep track of re-inspection dates, as well as monitor for new opportunities. This also means we are freed up to spend more time on what really matters, working on the safety of your buildings.
Overall, this year has been exciting and rewarding. Thank you for supporting us every step of the way.
